Sitar Lessons & Enrollment

Private sitar instruction in the tradition of the Maihar Gharana with Indrajit Banerjee. Lessons are tailored for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced students, and are available both in-person in Austin, Texas and online worldwide via Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Messenger.

Semester Structure & Tuition

Lessons are offered on a structured semester system at $60 per hour lesson, scheduled twice per month with flexible timing:

  • Spring Semester: January – May ($300 upfront for the semester)

  • Fall Semester: August – December ($300 upfront for the semester)

  • Summer Term: June – July (Special workshops and summer lessons available)

Lessons can be scheduled on weekdays or weekends (Saturday/Sunday) based on a mutually agreed-upon time.
